Sometimes it is difficult to really see the forest because of all the trees. This may leave woodland owners a little uncertain on how to go about managing their woodlands which may lead to taking no action at all. Unfortunately, given the numerous threats (ex. invasive plants, wildfire, etc.) that are facing Kentucky’s woodlands doing nothing is no longer a good option. A better option is to assess the current conditions of your trees and woodland to ensure they are as healthy and productive as possible. You can explore the videos on this page to learn how to assess your trees and woodland regardless of your management objectives.
