FNR Presentations at The Wildlife Society National Meeting
Published on Dec. 19, 2023
In November 2023, The Wildlife Society hosted its 30th annual national conference in Louisville. The Forestry & Natural Resources Department was represented by multiple current and past graduate students, staff, and faculty members. Ph.D. candidates Sarah Tomke and Kathryn Green and recently graduated masters student Kate Williams presented 15-minute oral talks, while masters students Autumn Randall and Lauren Sherman presented research posters. Research analyst Jill Newman also presented a poster on her masters research at Clemson University, and Dr. Steve Price presented a poster on behalf of Rebecca Davenport who graduated in Spring 2023 and now works as a biologist at a wildlife refuge in California. Attendance to this conference would not have been possible without funding provided by the FNR Student Travel Award. This award continues to provide graduate students in this department access to professional development and networking opportunities and is greatly appreciated by all of the recipients!
