Steam Weeders are devices that use saturated steam to control vegetation.  In 2019, UK received a grant from Lexington Fayette Urban County Government to test out the use of steam weeding on campus in various contexts.  This work (summarized in this video and slides) demonstrates the use of this machine and scenarios where it was tested on campus.
